Letters of Recommendation

To whom it may concern;

This letter is to recommend Brianna Pantelis for acceptance into your university.

Brianna’s persistence, ability to listen with understanding and empathy, and her aptitude for

working interdependently will make her a wonderful addition to your collegiate program.

I have had the privilege of having Brianna as a student in both math and acting classes

throughout the years.. During this time Brianna has demonstrated key characteristics that will

make her a successful college student. These characteristics including persistence, listening with

understanding and empathy, and working interdependently will make her a dynamic student.

Brianna is always working hard to support her fellow students for whatever she is

working on. In the Acting Classes she has taken any job or challenge enthusiastically, including

mentoring younger students and taking on roles with little preparation because she was needed.

Brianna is always very willing to work with other students and take on any task that is asked of

her. She listens to what others suggest and takes the best suggestions to heart for her

performance. There is never a suggestion that she doesn’t listen to and consider. As my math

student Brianna always asks good questions and consistently works with other students to figure

out what mistakes she is making and helping others to do the same. While she helps others she

asks them where they had issues and does her best to help them gain a better understanding.

When she is getting help she listens closely and this helps her better process the material. This

ability to work interdependently and listen with understanding and empathy will take Brianna

far.

One of Brianna’s biggest strengths is her ability to be persistent. On the stage she has

been diligent during rehearsals and in her memorization of lines to make sure she is one of the

best prepared actors in the class. It is always obvious that she has put a lot of work into her

performance. Brianna brings this persistent attitude to her preparation in math as well. In the

math classroom she is not afraid to work on a problem several times until she gains a better

understanding of the material. She refuses to give up on the work and will retake and rework

things until she is satisfied with her work. This ability to persevere demonstrates that she will

always be a very good worker who will not give up.

All of these abilities will help to make Brianna a successful college student. I fully

recommend Brianna Pantelis for acceptance into your university.

As a member of our Creative Writing Department, she attends class regularly, shows dedication and leadership by helping others, and is always willing to learn new things.

Brianna is a respectable student and is well liked and respected by the staff, students, and greater community at Arts Academy in the Woods. It is with great pleasure that I have an opportunity to provide this recommendation for her.
